Hello all!
I just got my ROTC scholarship and I couldn't be happier knowing that my letter should be here today or tomorrow. I now am faced with a bit of a predicament. I applied to NROTC as well, and I don't think I will hear back from them any time soon.
My question is just kind of what is on my mind-- Do I go ahead and pull the trigger on my ROTC and forget about Navy? I really do not want to lose my army offer because I waited for Navy, and didn't get it...leaving me without a chair when the music stops.
I should note some stats, to help you advise me better:
29 ACT
3.9 GPA
All Honors
Illinois State Scholar
Varsity Letterman
Class, Student Council President
Student Council Rep
Drum Major
Club Founder
4 yr science club
Captain of speech team
TIER THREE MAJOR
Any input at all is appreciated folks!
