I am not sure what to title this thread, but I did discover something interesting, yet very sad.

This happened a while ago, but when I was stumbling around on Youtube, I came across a channel that profiles US Soldiers who have given their lives while in service. One person they profiled was a USAFA grad, who unfortunately was killed in Iraq in May. As I was watching the video and they mentioned something about her playing lacrosse, I thought "Wait, she looks familiar"

I opened up one of my USAFA pamphlets, titled "Diversity at the Academy" and there she was profiled in the pamphlet as well.

The pamphlets must have been made a while ago, because according to the pamphlet, she was still a senior at the academy.

I just thought that would be something interesting to share. After reading some articles to follow up, she really seemed to have a lot going for her. She also seemed like a truly great person.

High respects to those in the service, they know there is a risk going in and are willing to take it in order to serve our nation.

"Service members", "soldiers" denotes members of the Army.

True, sad. Thanks for sharing. Shows you can never take anything for granted, not life and not loved ones and friends. Hold on to them as long as you can.

Oh I'm sorry. The name of the Youtube channel was just FallenUSSoldiers.

Also, when she was in Iraq, she was working for the Army. I'd post the video, some articles, or her name, but I am not sure if that would be appropriate or not.
