I called my local university (my second-choice school) and tried to schedule my interview for the arotc four year scholarship. The man on the phone asked for my number and said I would be contacted with an interview date. It has been 2 days now with no call. How long on average does it take to get a call back and how long should I wait before I call back? I really want to make the first board.

Did you speak with the ROTC enrollment officer (ROO)? When my DS called, they gave him the appointment date then, so did not have to wait for a call back. I would expect it would depend on how busy they are with classes, etc. Waiting is hard, but hang in there!

Call them back ASAP. There is no average here. The person you talked to may have forgotten to call you back. Be persistent. Don't wait for a call back if you haven't heard back by the end of the day in the future.

Another question here: so I listed the wrong counselor on the app but she still got it and forwarded it to the right counselor.. What should I do about this?

As long as the right counselor replies, it's not a an issue.
