    Welcome!

It'll be nice to add the experience of another parent to the forum. I'm sure I'll be running into your cadet at some point this year. Do you know which squadron they're going into?

New Member as my DS has applied to a service academy for class of 2019. I am a navy wife (husband retired 9 yrs ago) and we only have the one DS...so I will be an empty nester this time next year..sniff sniff. I wanted to start getting familiar with the Board so I could learn a bit more on how things work. I live on the West Coast but from the deep South.

    Hi Navy Mom! Welcome!

Read all the stickies... TONS of information!

Lots of us have been there with that empty nest thing; hardest on moms but we do live through it!

So, take a look at the info and ask away. You may not always like what you hear but everyone here is honest and forthright. On the other hand, you may LOVE what you here - Enjoy!
