So I just got an invitation to CVW. Does this mean the Naval Academy most likely knows I will be getting a nomination to go with my Letter of Assurance?

No. The admissions and nomination processes are separate. Both the CVW and the LOA are indications of the Academy's interest in you as a candidate, but it doesn't have anything to do with your potential nomination.

Daughter had LOA but no CVW. We worked with our BGO for a very, very, very, cold CVW in February. I still think that the LOA helps during the congressional interviews.

It does. During the MOC interview process we were told that "we try to give the NA what they want. If they give a candidate an LOA then we feel like we should give them the student that they want"
