Is it to early to fill out the nrotc scholarship?

Hello I'm planning on applying to the marine option scholarship but was wondering if now is to early.the site said begin filling it out in spring but also said "now accepting class of 2012 apps"does that mean class of 2013 cannot apply yet?
 
I think they start taking online applications on April 2.
 
The biggest thing you need to get before summer is the teacher recommendations done. As soon as you start your online application, skip ahead to that section and complete it, then do the rest.
