If a cadet has been qualified by DoDMERB for an AFROTC scholarship, can that qualification be used in pursuit of a scholarship from another service branch?

No, the qualification can not be transfered between services, or even between a service academy and ROTC program of the same service.

The applicant will not need a new physical examination (the physical is good for 2 years from the date of the physical examination), but the physical examination will have to be reviewed by DoDMERB for the new program. The new review will be done once the ROTC program notified DoDMERB that they are an applicant for that program.

Thx for the info

Thanks -- Appreciate the info. This is helpful.

I was also wondering, can a previous MEPS physical taken about 5 months ago be used in the same case as a DoDMERB exam? I'm pretty sure I know the answer, just curious

The answer would be no, you must get a DoDMERB physical examination.
