Is there a way to get a scholarship for SLS?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not believe there is a scholarship for SLS. You must make all of the payments on your own.

However, you could hold community fundraisers, which I intend to do, such as raffle drawings, selling food, etc. I'm sure the locals would be more than happy to assist with you attending a fairly prestigious summer program.

Search around for other assistance as well. You might be surprised who would provide you with funds.
 
I contacted admissions last year and received a scholarship for financial reasons however I believe its case by case. Just contact admissions and talk to them directly about your situation
 
You could also ask for sponsorships, i.e: the local paper, your dentist, doctor, ortho, etc...
 
Also, try you ROA locally. They often are extremely happy to assist the future leaders and officiers of America. Writing a letter and your intent to why you want to attend SLS and agreeing to share your experience afterwards is received well. Good luck!
