Just had meeting with my FFR at my house and he said I have a very strong application in my district which he said is dormant. He also said he will make a recommendation to the prep aswell.

Not a bad sign, but not really a good sign either.

It is what is as by now the admissions office has pretty good idea on the regular prep school and civil prep school offers, so a late recommendation might not carry too much weight. For civil prep, for a medium state, typically one to three offers. So sometimes I joke that it is hard to get a civil prep offer than actual appointment.

His comment about your district dormant is interesting. Typically, a FFR that conducts analysis on applicant data for the district can usually figure out either winner (i.e big separation in stats between the top candidate and the rest) or top candidates (i.e. top candidates are very similar, so hard to figure out who is the top candidate). My guess is if the district is dormant, there might be two to three candidates either waiting for medical waiver or all of them just completed the application so the final determination has not been made).

Good Luck
