Is this delay typical?

My application has been in since August. Waiver has been requested for my medical DQ issues and remedials were completed with excellent results in September. Everything moved quickly, but now all quiet since then. Is this normal? Any ideas about how long it could be before I hear anything? Or could it be silence all the way until spring time? Is it acceptable to make direct contact with the waiver staff? Does the RC know the status of the waiver and is it acceptable to ask him directly?

Your field force rep or RC is your point of contact for the waiver. He/She should be able to give you an update.
