Hello,
At a recent meeting i learned that you can receive a nomination from your JROTC commander if your unit receives "distinguished unit with merit." Now my unit has received this award many times, but we have not been inspected yet while i have been there. We get inspected next year, when i will be a junior.
So if we do not receive distinguished unit with merit again, would the nomination still count because of our unit being awarded it previously?
Or does it need to be awarded while i am there?
