My son submitted his application information into the USNA CIS about a week ago and was pleased to find that he already has a nomination from his JROTC unit. Does anyone know if there is any differential value to a nomination? I.e. now that he has one, should he continue to pursue a nomination from our congressman or senator or are all nominations treated the same?

    Thanks

You should try to obtain every nom for which you're eligible. One is not "better" than another, although Pres noms are non-competitive. The more noms you have, the more flexibility USNA has in slotting you for an appt.
