Seriously, I scoured the posts here so as to not repeat this topic, but I simply want to know if cadets can have food delivered into USAFA from outside restaurants, and if so, where would they pick it up? I would love to have food delivered but not sure if they're allowed to get past the gate. I'm posting as a parent, not a cadet.

Food can be delivered into USAFA but they can't get into the cadet area. I just sent a cake to my son for his B-day, they just meet up at Arnold hall. Also had food delivered from Dave's BBQ for A day, no problem, just a cadet has to call to arrange for entry into the South gate (if they come in that way). Cadet Treats can deliver to the squadrons and the Colorado Parent Club also has goodie baskets for finals and holidays (Haloween and Valentine's Day I believe) and that gets to the CQ desk. There are plenty of ways to spoil your cadet, comes from the 'I'm not paying for college' fund.

Yes food can be delivered. DS used to have me order pizza for delivery. There used to be a man that ran a food delivery service for specific restaurants in the Colorado Springs area. Will try and find his information and pm you. There is also person that deliver homemade cakes. They are wonderful. I believe it is Cakes by Carol.

Yes, food can be delivered although technically doolies need permission from an upperclassman to order food. I've never been told no though so it's not a big deal.

When you call to order food, you usually just tell them either the Sijan ECP or the Vandy ECP. Those are the most common places. All the local delivery places know where to go, and most will even remind the cadet to call the gate.

I've used Cadet Care Packages (website link) as well as Creative Cakes by Carol. Both have been great. It does take a bit of coordination by the cadet but they don't mind given that they get a reprieve from Mitch's.
