I have been medically disqualified from the AFROTC program because of a history of kidney stones. I can't access the DoDMERB website so I'm not sure as to where to go from here. The cadre at my detachment are going to put in for a waiver, but I am extremely nervous about the situation since my whole life I planned to be in the Air Force. What are my chances of getting a waiver? My doctors are telling me that my kidneys are no longer and issue and I am completely healthy...should I send in supporting paperwork including tests?

Thank you very much I hope I can get some sort of help because it means the world to me

Carrie - I am not terribly familiar with AF procedures, but I would recommend you contact your local AFROTC office and explain your situation. DODMERB only administers the exams and reports the results, the individual programs manage their candidates and determine the final qualification. I suspect you have access to a waiver program to clear up situations such as yours. Best wishes.

You posted this in the Introductions section. You will have better luck in the DoDMERB section. Send an email with your name and the last four digits of your social security number to Mr. Mullen at Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil. He works at DoDMERB and will be glad to help!

TRy talking to Mr. Mullen of DoDMERB, you probably find a lot more help if you post this on the DoDMERB section also.

Thank you so much for the responses, I just realized I posted in the wrong section (I have the worst migrane from today's disqualification news!). I have e-mailed Mr. Mullen, I hope I can get an answer to this.
