Kinnem

Thanks for the SB tickets (52 yard line - amazing!) and check, which arrived in the mail today. A minor problem with the latter, actually a few problems. My bank claimed to have never heard of Pee Wee's First National Bank and Lawnmower Repair ("Free Blade Sharpin wi. $50 Deposit"). I convinced them this was a respected financial institution in your locale when they noticed the routing number was smudged beyond legibility. Finally, you may want to improve your penmanship. The cramped handwriting on the amount line appears to say "Fifteen Dozen Wings".

See you at the game.

LOL. See you at gate 6! If I'm a little late, wait for me.

Kinnem,
Did you see your shadow today?

Yes I did. And I texted said information to my son earlier today in fact. Six more weeks of winter here in NC!How about you NorwichDad? Is winter ending soon where you are?

NJ always has six more weeks of winter. It is very cold. That Groundhog never helps out. DS is enjoying very nice 70 degree days in South Georgia. He is about to move on though.

Best wishes to your son. Fort Riley?

Not too sure yet. He may be switching. That happens during training. There is some opportunity to switch assignments with others. His last training course finished Friday. He'll find out this week. Excellent assignments either way.

Can't wait to see Kinnem perform during the Super Bowl Halftime show!

I'm not performing, but I did do all of Beyonce's choreography. What did you think?

@EDelahanty - I waited at gate 6 until 10 minutes after the kickoff but you never showed. What's up with that? Hope you're OK.

Impressive. And no wardrobe malfunctions!

And the nerve of them cutting to commercial as you were going to take a bow... :unhappy:

Yeah, but when you're in the big time you get used to these TV schedules working like that.

Kinnem the Super Bowl lost their lights. Did you just plug in your phone charger there?

Just got to the stadium - what happened to the lights? I encountered a few delays is the reason. It's surprising how long it takes to hitch a ride out of Wheeling these days. Anyway, I probably should have asked you which hotel you were in. I went to eight different hotels before they said Yes, we have a Kinnem here - Mr. Kinnem Parmonrotzi - he's in the Napoleon Suite, but he's already at the dome rehearsing. Since you're a friend, it's fine if you go up there. What kind of name is Parmonrotzi, anyway? Will one key be enough?

The Napoleon Suite was amazing. I found out it took up half the old ballroom where they used to have the famous Mardi Gras balls, before the hotel achieved dowager status. It has a Wurlitzer. Plus, I've never seen a suite with its own petting zoo, wading pool and pit barbecue, not to mention the fresh air skylights in the roof.

Probably a good idea if you don't return to your suite, by the way. I think the fire department is just about finished but Animal Control may be there for a while. The Wurlitzer can probably be restored is the good news. I didn't realize the sheep and goats were supposed to be kept in their pens was what started the problem.

Nothing to do with the lights going out, but you can bet I was busy chewing on some butts to get them back on quickly. Someone won't be able to wear pants for a week!

And you can be sure I let them know that this had better not happen at this Friday's Drill Meet at Tulane because these kids have worked to damned hard for this kind of treatment. This is America for God's sake. Not some third world country! How can we let this kind of thing happen here!

@EDelahanty. No problemo. Just have them put it all on my tab. Sorry I won't be able to meet you there after the game but I expect to be spending several hours here trying to get to the bottom of this blackout.

Awesome commercial, though i think Psy was mispronouncing "Kinnem Style."

Were you one of the dancing pistachios?

Sorry it took me a few minutes to respond. I've been busy on the phone trying to help coach this 49ers comeback. Seems to be working so far. And no I wasn't a pistachio. I have people for that.

Damn! My phone connection with coach dropped with about three minutes left in the game! Too bad! Too bad! Oh, too bad!
