The missing part of my son's candidate packet will be finished tomorrow! He has his ALO interview which means little sleep tonight ( or maybe just for us parents). It will be nice to see the missing forms section cleared!!!

Now the next session of waiting begins... hoping and praying for the nomination:smile:

I find it ironic seeing parents worried about their kid's application. My parents have had almost no input in my application process, with the exception of accompanying me to my DoDMERB physical. Hopefully your son appreciates your assistance and support, and good luck to you all. :)

Well, to tell the truth.. when my son first began to discuss this with me a few years back, I was not thrilled at all. However, he has had several years to convince me  If this is what he wants to do then I will support him in his efforts. My husband was enlisted AF and as a military wife I remember the good things but also some of the hardships( working odd hours, being gone for a year, moving, etc.) Therefore, we had to come to terms with our son's choice to pursue his dream. In fact, he probably has heard more times than he wanted " are you sure...."

armybratkl- Good luck to you too!:thumb:
