Latex allergy

Just got an update stating pending waiver review by each academy for a latex allergy. Does this mean they are pursuing a waiver for me ? And I know it's dependent on the severity but are waivers normally given for latex reactions ?

Yes, pending waiver review means you are in line to have your DQ looked at. This is a good sign. No idea on your second question. Good luck
