Letter of Encouragement

As of yesterday, I just received a Letter of Encouragement. I have already received a nomination from my MOC, and I have already received a letter saying my candidate file is qualified. How reassuring is it that I received an LOE? How good are my chances for receiving an appointment?

WOW! Kind of late for WP to send an LOE. I didn't know that they would still be sending them out. LOEs are supposed to be good things. So Congrats!

That is good! I was the primary vacancy winner for my MOC and I had an LOE. Received my appointment 1/14/2014. Every case is different, but an LOE is basically USMA saying that they are really interested in you. Very good sign!
