Limbo Status at USMA

It's not over till the TWE/Appointment arrives. It could be candidates turned down USMA for other academy appointments and now USMA is going thru their list. Could be candidate is not decided on which academy to choose until the deadline date for the other academies. DD was in this position last year and was not notified till late
in the game of TWE. DD found out that RC can help identify where your position is.

First of all, Happy Mother's Day. Secondly, Thanks for the info, but how late in the game did DD get notification of TWE?

It may explain a little of what is going on. Or, it may not. Only your RC really knows. Contact him/her tomorrow. They really don't mind hearing from candidates.

USMA acceptance had to be completed by the 15th of April, I believe. So, the 1st person accepted on that date not yet knowing if he would have received an appointment from the other academy he applied to, leaving her 2nd in line and then to receive the TWE by mail within a week or so. I do not know when the other academy acceptance deadline dates are however, that could be a reason you have not heard. I wish you the best, but call your RC and they can help.

Hang in there until you get a TWE or an appointment. The latest from the USMA parent liaison -- "The class is just about full with over 1100 candidates who have accepted their appointments and candidates from USMAPS accepting shortly."
