I have a LOA but not an invitation to a CVW......and I would really like to particiapte in a CVW.....what would be the best approach to try and secure an invitation?

I have sent an email to admissions, but no reply.......and I am assuming they are "underwater" right now at the height of the admissions process......

Is there a department within admissions, or within the USNA in general, that exclusively handles the CVW program that I should contact? Can a BGO help? Other ideas?

Is it too bold to request an invitation? I would like to go in January if possible....

Thanks in advance for any coaching......

My son just got an invitation a couple days ago and it came from his Regional Director - not sure if that's who you mean by contacting admissions, but if not, it might be another place to try. You should have that on your online application page. My son also replied back to the email asking for the January date, but hasn't heard back from them yet. I'll let you know if they tell him if that one is still available or not! Good luck!

Talk to your Blue and Gold Officer. I was in the same boat you were a few days ago, but after emailing my BGO, I got an invitation the next day. If he can't help, I would try your regional director next.

Contact your Regional Director and request consideration for a CVW. They have just set the dates for the Spring set of visits, so time is important.

Just updating you to let you know my son received a confirmation email this morning for the January CVW, so there's evidently still room in that one! Keep trying!
