LOA and CVW Question

My question is, can an LOA be issued to a candidate who is pending a medical waiver? Do you have to have the waiver issued before one of these is sent out, or is there a possibility of receiving one prior?

Also, how about for a CVW? If the application is mostly complete, would a waiver pending status candidate not be invited for this reason alone?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated :thumb:
 
An LOA can be issued without them having any knowledge of your medical status (it states what you're appointment is contingent upon on the LOA with medical qualification as one of the options). For the CVW I know they send it out to many candidates who have at least done some of their app, medical status probably doesn't play into it.
 
Ok, I had a feeling medical qualifications wouldn't play a role in these areas just yet. Thanks for confirming!
 
You can definitely receive an LOA prior to clearing medical. However, you cannot receive an appointment until medical clears.
