So I received an LOA last week, contigent upon receiving a nomination and completing my CFA. Noms are out of my control at this point, but about the CFA...

all of my times/counts are pretty good, with the exception of pull ups.... I've only got 2 :/ (I'm a girl, by the way). I can wait until 12/4 to submit the CFA, according to the LOA. Should I wait and try to get my pull up counts higher or take the test now?

Congratulations! :thumb:

I would take it soon so you have a buffer in case it gets lost in the mail or doesn't get there on time. The LOA is contingent in simply passing the CFA so you won't have to excel at push ups. For a girl, I am fairly certain 2 pull ups is passing since they allow girls to do an an alternate event (flexed arm hang) if they cannot complete a pull up. This event is worth less than one pull up and would be pointless to have if you needed higher than that to pass.

Females do not need to do any pullups, so 2 pullups for a female is excellent. really.
Like those above said, take the test now. If for some reason you do not pass a section, you Regional Commnader will call you and ask you to take it again.

Hey not to change the subject or anything. I really confused on how many times you can take the CFA. I've heard you can only take it once, retake it if the academy permits it, and that you can keep on taking and resubmitting it. How many times can you really submit the CFA?
