I was wondering if my entire online application must be completed before I am considered for an LOA? I have completed everything but the CFA and I plan on getting that done in the next couple weeks.

Also if the entire application must be fully completed, then by the time I get my CFA done (within the next month) will it be in time to still be considered for a LOA?

I was contacted by a USMA admissions person who said they don't require all parts of the application to be completed to be considered for a LOA. Just wondering if the USNA operates in the same way or not.

Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

From what I've heard, USMA hands out LOAs like candy on Halloween. The Naval Academy tends to be far more stingy with LOAs. Most of those admitted never get an LOA.

You do not have to have everything completed in order to receive an LOA.

If you would contribute to the Naval Academy's triple option attack, you could probably get an LOA without a candidate number.

But - yes - with only your CFA remaining; you certainly could get an LOA. However, statistically speaking, you probably will not.
