True, and geography probably plays a part too.

When my Plebe was going for her interview with Sen #1 there are about 3X more kids scheduled for NA and MA than for AFA. We're from CT. So getting one of his nominations for AFA presented less competition (if just from numbers of kids seeking a nom.) I'd guess the reverse is probably true in Colorado.
