So, I have had my LOA for a few months now, and I am really wondering what the letter ment by continued excellent work in school. I understand that good grades and active involvement are a few aspects, but I am wondering if it is also refering to the recomended courses to take in high school. Or simply, would West Point take away an LOA for not having at least two foreign language credits?

I don't think the LOA will be withdrawn unless you experienced a dramatic drop in grades/GPA.

I was told "continued excellent work in school" meant to not fail any classes.

I was told by my regional commander that it means not to fail any classes and be smart about what you do/who you hang out with. Like don't get arrested, suspended, etc. So ditto what AKH said.

One of the things West Point will have you do before R-Day is get a background check on yourself from all of the law enforcement agencies in your area.

Avoid "senioritis" at all costs.

This made me chuckle! Thanks for the answers. :thumb:
