So DS received a LOA yesterday, should he let his MOCs know? If so, how?
Good question, I'm curious about this too!
USNA sent a copy of LOA to our MOCs.
Oh, and Congrats on that!!
Yes, definitely. You can't count on USMA contacting your MOCs. Your DS has to be proactive.
Should he just tell them? Or include/forward a copy in the package?
Probably both. I don't see how it could hurt to do both.
Now this is just my style......I would build a one page resume that high lights your achievements and who you are. I would mention your LOA here. You can place it in a nice professional folder and have six copies. Six should cover it, you may have left overs. You want to avoid 3 people trying to share one copy. Why one page? You want the interview board to focus on you but at one glance they can look over your highlights. If the board members want details they will ask. This is when you put your sales person hat on and sell ice to an Eskimo. Most MOC will have an interview board to meet you. They don't want to hear from your parents, they want you.
I hope that helps. If you have more questions, please ask

They likely know, but do send a copy in with your application. If you've already applied to them, send separately.
Great idea, thanks! That will work great for the congressman. No interviews with senators though.
