LOA?

I was wondering if any of you experts would know if I have a chance of receiving a LOA.

I had a 4.0 GPA
31 math
29 Reading
34 Science
33 English
Varsity baseball
FBLA school President
Community service... etc.

I got one. But I've seen people with better stats that didn't. It depends.

Your name is USNA Hopeful? Did you apply to the AIR FORCE academy, or just to Navy? But what matt said is correct. We know of 4.0gpa students who DIDN'T get an appointment; yet accepted to Yale. There's a lot more than just your gpa and ACT scores. Plus, you've narrowed it down to wanting to know about an LOA. That's even harder to determine considering how few people get LOA's. Normally those are applicants who are 1)WOW "Walk-on-Water" and 2) Highly competitive to other schools and the academy is trying to basically offer a conditional "Early Admissions". But again, it's the WHOLE PERSON concept. There are so many variables on whether a person receives an appointment or not. Narrowing it to an "Early Appointment or LOA" is even more difficult.
