I day is coming up quick, so I was wondering if what I should do for the night before: stay with my family in a hotel room or stay at the academy?
 
stay in the hotel with your family. there's absolutely no advantage to staying at the Academy the night before I-day. Enjoy your one last night of freedom, you'll have plenty of nights to sleep at the Academy

Yeah take hotel over academy any day.
 
Book yesterday. 1000+ parents and family will be descending on Annapolis. Try the Priceline approach or call the hotel direct to ask about a "USNA friends and family" rate. Many local Annapolis hotels offer a special discount; they want your business the next 4 years plus that wedding down the road.

There are several threads on here about hotels, especially ones with downtown shuttles.

Yeah thank you. We already have our hotel I was just wondering because it will be cramped. But I will definitely take the advice and stay there.
