LOE/Principle Gets first C 7th semester

DS is 3Q'd and has principle nomination and was notified by admissions that he will receive BFE. What would be the ramifications of DS getting a C in AP Calculus on 7th semester transcripts? It probably will not effect GPA or class rank because it is AP? Will the C in calc raise a red flag and cause problems?

He's fine. A 'D' or 'F' would catch the eye of admissions.

He will see Calc again at WP. I would invest in a tutor just to make sure he understands the principles being taught here. He may not have time for that once at WP. He'll have chem to deal with also.

I wouldn't worry about it. My DS (2016) also received a C in AP Calc. He has done extremely well in all of his math classes so far at West Point.
