I thought post a good way to break in your low quarters- wear them to your prom. I almost keeled over when my DS came down stairs in his tux wearing his LQ's. He attended three different proms this month and wore them to all. He says they are more comfortable everytime he puts them on. So much for spending $200 on Cole-Hahns when my $37 e-Bay purchase worked.

My son also wore his low quarters to the prom. He has also worn them as his dress shoes to Awards ceremonies at his school. They seem to be working for him!:thumb:

    Gov't issue or Bates?

I've been calling around trying to find low quarters and now have more questions than I started with  Do the low quarters have to be the gov't issue "M206H" as mentioned in the boot letter, or are Bates acceptable (#112 or #968)?

I'm pretty sure wearing your low quarters to prom was a TSM someone put up.

Wore mine too. Definitely not worth spending $$$ to rent a pair when you already have some.

DS wore his low quarters to prom too

Who looks at the feet much. Plus, they looked just as good as anyone else's and didn't have to wear rented one that have been one countless feet.
