Great picture of the MIDGETT and the captured cocaine sub in that second link. I sent it to my DD who served 11-weeks on board last summer as her 2/c duty assignment. MIDGETT has a new skipper, Capt. Meese who came to the ship from the Academy where he was head of the Nautical Science Department. One of the great advantages of the Academy to have so many instructors who have real word experience such as Capt. Meese, and to have cadets get a taste of duty at sea during their summer assignments.
