Thanks to all who post here as the official info on the whole process is kind of sparse. My son did his interview on 2/12, so doubtful his info made to the Board in time for the 2/13 session.
The scholarship officer was impressed and indicated that he should "have no problem" qualifying for one. Still we take nothing for granted of course.
I understand from reading above that the 3/1 Board will probably have notifications out by 3/22 for the 4 year Army ROTC scholarship and that they would send out a letter requiring a response in relatively short order.
A couple questions for anyone who knows:
It is strictly a letter that we'd be looking for, or would checking the Cadet Command Scholarship Status page from time to time provide an answer on award, or is that strictly for application/documentation issues only?
The last Board is in April I think, and that is it for this year correct? Would make sense given that the typical date for accepting college admissions is May 1.
