The Class of 2018 completed their 12.2 mile March Back this morning, and presented their class motto -- "With Strength We Lead". I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum who provided advice, knowledge and opinions over the last couple of years to this non-military mom and to all of those candidates hoping to receive an appointment.
My two older kids and I will travel to West Point this weekend to watch the Acceptance Day parade and ceremony, and spend two short days with my DS. I imagine there will be noticeable changes in him. We are excited for him and anxious to hear about all that he has experienced so far. And then the academic year starts! We will not see him again until mid-December, so we are going to make this weekend count.
