Is there a way to register for the overnight visit on VMI's website?
I probably just overlooked it, but maybe not. I e-mailed them about my interest in it with no response. I guess you have to call?

Here's the link to the Open House info page: http://www.vmi.edu/Admissions.aspx?id=7189. At the top there's a link that will take you directly to the online registration form. Filling that out should be all you need to do to register.

Who did you email? CPT John Casper '04 is the Admissions Officer tasked with coordinating all of the open houses. You can reach him at CasperJP (at) vmi.edu or by calling (540) 464-7211. CPT Casper is a good man. He'll shoot you straight.

To add upon what RVM2009 said about Capt. Casper. When I visited in February; I didn't actually get to meet my counselor, but had a long discussion with him a a few occasions. He's a very nice guy and like RVM said will, "shoot you straight". He even walked me back to the barracks after the question and answer portion of the overnight, just so he could answer any and all of the questions I shot his way.
