What medical records are required for the DODMERB physical? My candidate has no "yes" answers to record other than one that can be handled with the records from an ENT (tonsils out as a kid) so should we expect to track down records from other providers? We do not have one doctor that has treated us consistently so realistically I could have to do a little work to ask practices to find archived records from doctors we haven't visited in 10-15 years.

They don't require any records on the day of the DODMERB physical. The only paperwork required is what you print off of your computer after you fill out all of those yes, no questions.

If something comes up during the physical, then they may request something.

My advice would be to bring only what they ask for. Anything further could possibly cause confusion and end up requiring more red tape.

I was scared to death going into my DODMERB physical, but it turned out to be pretty simple and straight forward.

Try not to stress about it.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. This is what I thought but we don't want to have everything ready to go early and then fall behind on medical.

I agree, just answer the questions on the forms and don't offer anything that isn't required. We were a bit nervous also but it went very smoothly and DS didn't need to follow-up with any additional information. Good luck!

I even had a football injury to disclose and take medication for acne, but no follow-up or additional information was needed. I did have to list the Dr.'s name for the above, but I doubt they contacted them. If so, I was out of the loop.
