Medical Review Time Line

Can anyone give some idea of the "normal" time line for medical review? Based in previous posts, this seems to be taking longer than others have posted. Really dont think there is anything in DS's medical history to be concerned with, just seems to be a long time "Under Review" and making myself crazy checking the website for an update...........

Current Medical Status: Under DoDMERB Review

02-APR-14 Date applicant entered into DoDMERB system
02-APR-14 Application Added
16-APR-14 Actual date of exam
23-APR-14 Date exam received at DoDMERB
23-APR-14 Medical data entry

We got a response pretty quickly...like 2 weeks I think...and we knew that DS would be needing a medical waiver. According to their website, because of the different nature of each person's medical history there is not really a time frame that they adhere to....unfortunately. We are now in the waiting stages for the waiver.
 
My file was reviewed/decision made after 2 days of my medical data entry. But the DoDMERB people want to make sure they review your case fully and to the best of their ability so I wouldn't worry too much... You can always e-mail the help desk folks. They are pretty nice and quickly respond =)
 
Thanks for the feeback, I know it is situational and I am sure they are very busy this time of the year.

You have a LONG road to travel. Nothing will go as quickly or as efficiently as you would like. Welcome to the military! I am surprised that you think your process is going slow. It's not. My son's exam required extra information (concussions and facets syndrome) and after we sent it in they processed his clearance pretty quickly but not within 2 weeks.
