Is it possible to receive a medical waiver for eyesight that is not correctable to 20/20? Would 20/25 be eligible for a waiver if everythingl else is within standards?

Unfortunately, no one can answer this question except the Commander of the Coast Guard Personnel Service Center since he is the waiver granting authority for the Coast Guard Academy. Even if waivers have (or have not) been granted for a specific disqualifying condition in the past, it doesn't necessarily mean one will (or will not) be granted this year. All you can do is apply and hope you receive a conditional appointment, so you can start the medical waiver review process and learn if you'll be granted a waiver.
