I have a question about meeting medical standards. On the Coast Guard Academy website, one of the Common Disqualifications listed is 'Vision not correctable to 20/20 in either eye.' My left eye is only correctable to 20/25 -2. Also, on the DODMERB form the doctor checked 'Fail' for Tropia. Is this serious enough to worry about? Do I require a medical waiver? No other medical issues, just the eye. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
