I was looking in the Logging In packet and I was confused on the part about prescription medications. Do I need to have a doctor's note describing why I need the medicine or just the physical prescription bottle with my name on it?

ONLY 10 DAYS!!!!!!

As long as the medications/reason for the medications was disclosed during your DoDMERB physical examination, then all you will need is the prescription bottle. I would also recommend that you get a paper copy of the prescription from your physician as well.

If the medications were not disclosed during the DoDMERB physical exam, or this is a new injury/illness that is requiring the medications I would notify the admissions office and DoDMERB about this right away. You don't want any surprises like this on I-Day.

What about OTC items

The logging-in booklet is very clear that they cannot have any Over the Counter items during Indoc. Can we send stuff like aleve, tylenol, claritin in August after Indoc is over?

Thanks!

I would not worry about sending OTCs to your candidate. If they need anything, they can purchase it at the NEX cheaper than you can mail it to them.

Good Luck! :thumb:
