I have read through many articles and descriptive "definitions" concerning Memorial Day, but, thought I would post this commentary link, since it sums up a bit of what the holiday is meant to remember.

May peace be with those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice as well as their family members left to continue this life.

Father-in-Law, Signalman 1st Class US Navy WW2. Amazing man with some amazing stories. Passed one year ago today.

Cousin, Helicopter pilot in Vietnam, 4 tours. Again an amazing person with stories that would curl your toes. Died in a helicopter crash 2 years after the Vietnam War ended.

And to be honest, all the men and women that have served in out Armed Forces.
