Hi! If I were to major in Marine and Environmental Science with the specialization in chemistry, what would be my degree upon graduation? B.S in chemistry, environmental science? Thank you!

My roommate majored in Marine and Environmental Sciences with an emphasis in Chemistry and Biology.

I majored in Marine and Environmental Science with an emphasis in Physics and Biology.

My good friend who is also stationed here majored in Marine and Environmental Science with an Emphasis in Chemistry and Physics.

Al of our degrees say the exact same thing: Bachelor of Science in Marine and Environmental Sciences.

A number of majors have "tracks" at CGA…. I was a government major on a public policy track. An international affairs track was also possible. Fish kissers (MES majors) and engineers have the same general concepts. It really your focus within the major.

Physical Oceanography, not physics

I spent more time researching plasma physics than I did working on my oceans classes: I call it physics.

Oh, I know you did STN. I just think MES would be more interesting if they went more into the general sciences. I definitely would've considered it if they had a pure physics track.
