I would like to echo these thoughts, but less us not for forget the following the youngmen and women who attend all the service academies and ROTC rograms, through out the greatest country in the world. Thank you for your dedication, service and commitment. Always, remember without the defense of freedom, there is none.

It is because of those who have fought and died for this country that as citizens of the US we have the opportunities that we do. Especially for all of those applying to the service academies, may we remember that we are making a sacrifice to become a part of the military so that we can maintain the security of our great nation.

Thank you to all who have served. Happy Veterans Day.

I share the same thoughts as others. Thank you to all who have served and those still serving home, abroad, and in harm's way.

The Veteran's Memorial Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery was well done, with the SECDEF and Joint Chiefs in attendance. Vice President Biden delivered an outstanding speech and many veteran's group were in attendance.

During this holiday we cannot forget those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, along with their families, whose internal battle wounds are especially hard to heal.

It is fitting that the U.S. Navy will commission the latest Arleigh Burke Destroyer, USS JASON DUNHAM (DDG 109) this Saturday, named after Cpl Jason Dunham, who's selfless service cost him his life and earned him the MOH.
