Does the NROTC slection board want to see mid year grades? DS submitted complete application back in late November but has not heard anything other than the standard portal verbage. Since he now has 1st semester grades (they are good) must he/should he submit them?

I sent mine in and since test scores are listed at my school on transcripts it numbed my math score 20 points. (I sent scores electronically and nothing updated) I was pleasantly surprised. Sending grades would do nothin but help I presume and may even offer peace of mind to the board that your DS is maintaining strong grades even after most colleges have already taken a look at them.

I encouraged my DS to make sure they were received because:

1. His grades were good.

2. Shows that he has ROTC on the brain and cares.

His high school is slow to transmit so they didn't go through until after the board met. In any event, he received scholarship before the officials were transmitted.

#2 is at least as important as #1.
