My DD got a LOA and has finished her interviews with Sens Klobouchar , Franken and Rep Kline. Waiting on pins and needles. Any Mn. kids get results yet?
 
Northstream, congratulations on your DD's LOA. You have to celebrate at each victory along the trip, the LONG trip.
 
It might still be a good month before you hear anything.

Sen Franken has given out a nomination ?
 
I got my nomination from Oberstar last month to make my LOA, but nothing from either of the senators yet

I got one from Rep. Tim Walz in Nov. (district 1). I haven't heard anything from Klobuchar of Franken yet though...
 
USAFA was my number one choice but i applied to both. No word from either of them yet though.
 
with Walz on Nov. 13 and the senators on Nov. 20. My nomination finally registered on my status page today to go along with a LOA. I think I heard someone say that the Klobuchar and Franken would decide theirs by the end of the year, so you should hear soon:)

Congrats!! Hopefully she gets one to USAFA too. Those dang senators better get their lists out soon, they have a lot of kids waiting on them:biggrin:
And you were close- I'm a little over an hour SE of roch.
 
I got mine from Congressman Kline today to attend the USAFA!!! I go to Lakeville north...
 
So I checked my status page this morning and on there it shows that I got a nomination from Sen. Franken, but I wasn't notified by his office at all, and I thought they tried to give them to kids who didn't get one from their rep., so basically just wondering if this happened to anyone else, and if it is legit?

If it's on the site, it's legit. The Academy is not going to play any jokes on you :wink:
 
Our DS got a nom from his Cong. in Nov. according to the AFA, the letter from the Cong. did not arrive until Feb.

Not every MOC contacts their slate via phone or letter. Strike is correct the definitive answer for you is that the AFA placed it in your official file for your records.
 
Just checked my online application and it says that I was nominated by Senator Franken as well! I haven't heard anything via mail, phone, or email from his office yet though, but I'm keeping my eyes locked on the mailbox for an official letter. Now for that LOA...
