Mom brag

Agreed, but since mine has suffered non-hurdles injuries he chose against.

Held our breath all football season.
The same night he found out he received the scholarship he swore off class parties.
Said he had too much to lose and nothing to gain being around beer drinking classmates.

Thankfully, my guy doesn't drink at all, so we don't have that issue because he never went to that stuff, but I hear you.

Try watching three kids (two girls one son) in Ice Hockey and then all playing spring Lacrosse. They will not quit and you can only pray. Don't have any Facebook pictures laying around with his friends!

I have a hockey player and a football player, I'm all too familiar. I've been hearing the bubble wrap comment for years.

Bubble wrap never works. Youngest had broken ankle from Field Hockey (supposedly non contact sport). Is now playing again with University Club Team.

I actually put bubble wrap in my son's Christmas stocking this year!
My cadet was injured during CBT and needed surgery, so he is home this year on medical leave. As his injury healed (and with the doctor's permission) he began sports again - karate, skiing and ultimate frisbee. I pray everytime he heads out to play a sport that he'll come home without an injury. CBT is still 4 months away and my knees are getting awfully sore from all this praying! :)

My 4-year AROTC winner just finished 2nd at his wrestling regionals and is now headed to sectionals. Look mom, no injuries! Part of me wants him to not run track this year to avoid injury between now and contracting. Any other moms/dads out there on pins and needles through the rest of the sporting year? I'm sure that's a big 10-4.View attachment 469
