It is with great regret that I am posting on this forum. DD has decided that the Coast Guard is not the direction she wants to go, and the Academy is not the place she wants to attend so she has stopped her application process. I applaud her for knowing herself and making this decision and pray that she has made the best decision. I'd like to thank you all for the questions and answers in this forum. Both DD and I have learned so much about so many subjects, and we appreciate the honest, straight forward answers that are given, not just CG, but "life" situations. Best of luck to next year's applicants and their families, DD will see you down another road.
