Hey guys. I am a third year applicant. I am about to enter my junior year of college (didn't reapply last year and it is one of my biggest regrets). I was wondering what questions that Senators, Congress Reps, and BGOs use that I can start to prepare for and to practice? I do not want to waste time like I did the other two years stuttering, and overthinking my answer during the interview. If anyone can help me out that would be great!

And I understand that there might (willing to bet that there is) a thread or website that people have already answered. If that is the case then PLEASE give me the link :)

Thank you!

That is a hard one because the MOC's and even Senators process varies. My DS had a very comprehensive interview from a panel of 12 people at the MOC level but our Senators didn't even do interviews. You might do better asking this question locally. Did you not interview on your previous tries? Any way, good luck!

My DH pulled that one on DD as we were headed out to I-Day at USAFA.

And the first two are not that far off from the real interview questions.

I'm wondering why you would want to start a 4-year college program (like the Naval Academy) after having completed three years of college. I would think your best course is OCS at this point. It's more efficient and more practical.

At the end of one of my DS' interviews, the head of the panel asked him to tell a joke. It was a real curve ball for my hyper uptight kid.

So in your two prior applications, you never got as far as an interview with your MOC? I would focus more on what is missing from your resume. (I assume in your 2 prior application attempts, you already had the meeting with your BGO.)

Daughter had a Company mate who had applied three times. He made it on the third after two years of college. He wanted USNA and tried every year. It can be done. I still love the killer rabbit.

They asked my S if he had ever seen the movie Crimson Tide. The interviewers proceeded to discuss the movie for 10 minutes.
