In a fairly large state like Ohio, most nominations are received from House Reps instead of Senators. How common is it to receive multiple nominations from a House Rep? I noticed last year, OH-1 (Cincinnati area) issued only one nomination per candidate with a couple of exceptions who received two, i.e. USMA and USNA. Is this common?

I don't know about Ohio, but I live in GA, which isn't a small state, and I received
nominations to all the academies from my congressman. So it is definitely possible to receive multiple nominations. It really just depends on what the board thinks of you and your qualifications.

I think it may depend on more than this in many congressional districts.
