Basketball Throw: 72 Feet
Pullups: 14
Pushups: 67
Situps: 91
Shuttle Run : 8.30
Mile: 8:11 (ew)

Is this passing? Or do I need to retake it for the Mile. I actually took this while I had a cold, and all of these events (except for mile), was an OVERALL personal best. My mile time is normally 6:40, but I just didn't do too well there. I am going to retake this no matter what. I am just wondering if this renders me passing.

That's strange. We got the exact same mile time, pull-ups, basketball throw, and your shuttle run was only .1 different than mine when I took it the first time. I passed the CFA for USNA with scores very similar to those, but I decided to retake it and I got better scores the 2nd time around. A male a few years ago said that he passed with an 8:30 something mile for USNA. He was not appointed with those scores.

Something that also might be worth noting is that passing the CFA for one SA doesn't always mean passing it for all SA.

Oh wow, that is strange!

An interesting statistic would be the amount of people achieving matching scores in the events.

Thanks for that link.

I got an appointment with a 55ft bball throw, 5 pull ups, 9.1 shuttle run, 42 push ups, , 64 sit ups, and 7:20 mile, so I think you're good.

Thanks! I saw your SAT stats on the 2020 Hopefuls thread. They were crazy! Congratulations!

So y'all think that this would be competitive then??

Basketball - 73'
Pull ups - 15
Shuttle Run - 9.5''
Sit ups - 72
Push ups - 64
Mile run - 6:35

Any reply helps! Thanks.

My son just took a practice CFA. Interested in thoughts on his results:

BB throw = 71 ft
PU = 13
SR = 9.7 secs
CR = 95
PushUp = 75
Mile = 5:17.46

Regardless of whether academies post what their passing scores are, both of you did well. There is always room for improvrment, but very respectable. If you don't get in, it won't be the cfa score that held you back.
