I would like to start out by saying that I am not stupid enough to believe everything that I see on the internet. However, I ran across a site mydutytospeak.com. This site is about sexual assault in all branches of the military. There are posts here that speak negatively about the Coast Guard Academy. I will not go into detail because people can go to the site and see for themselves. I was just wondering if there is any truth to these posts.

The academy is not perfect. Admissions is not perfect. Bad people come through. If we can stop bad people it would be a perfect world, yet there's no reason we cannot attempt to stop them, but bad things still happen.

I read a lot of on that website as well. It is a shame that people like that even exist, but it's up to us to say something if we know something and look out for each other.
